How to Make Milo Sponge With Teflon

Teman-teman Neti Recipes Today I want to make a sponge that is already included in the old school.

If some time ago this sponge is one of the contemporary sponges.

But now it's old school, because there are many other contemporary variations of sponge cakes popping up.

Wow, so it's too late for the recipe I share this??! Of course not, right?

Incidentally, today I was lazy to cook something old in the kitchen, but suddenly wanted to snack on something sweet.

Lazy mixer, lazy to use my signature tangkring grill,, let him rest first ^_^

Sponge Milo Teflon

How to Quickly Make Sponge

Sponge Milo Teflon this is how to make it, it's quite difficult, it's simple ^_^

There's a lot of difficulty, hmm,, right??! but not really, because it just takes patience when making it.

Moreover, cooking a soft-textured sponge using Teflon, turns out to be very different from using an oven.

Honestly, this is my first time trying to bake sponge cake using Teflon, and it really has its own challenges.

Cooking it must really maintain the temperature or heat of the stove, if the fire can be very small so it doesn't burn like me.

How to Eat The Sponge Milo Teflon

My Teflon Milo cake was indeed charred at the bottom, because I forgot to turn the stove fire down when I first poured the sponge mixture into the Teflon.

As a result, it was slightly charred, when I smelled a charred fragrance, I personally realized and was surprised,,

I personally turned it down on the stove and turned it over, and Alhamdulillah it wasn't too burnt, but it didn't change the taste.

If not, be a charred sponge hihihi ^_^
I sliced the burnt part with a knife and threw it away, because if you eat the burnt part, it tastes bitter, the others are still yummy and soft.

The way to eat the milo sponge is also unique, because most of the sponge is very yummy when eaten warm.
Well, it's different with this milo sponge which actually tastes more yummy when it's cold.

Sponge Milo Topping Powdered Sugar

Because I reduced the sugar dose, this milo cake wasn't that good, right?

For those who like sweet, just add a dose of sugar.

I prefer to add powdered sugar on top of the sponge as a topping, according to me the combination is quite suitable with the less sweet taste of the sponge cake,

Remember, friends, eat the milo sponge when it's really cold. Because when eaten warm, according to me the texture actually feels dry and stale.

For toppings according to taste, if you don't like powdered sugar, it looks good to use melted DCC milk, or vanilla ice cream.

The texture at a glance, I think, is similar to caramel sponge or ant nest cake.

Because the use of snack soda is good, of course, by the way, the dosage of baking powder or baking soda can be reduced according to taste. Let's see the material and how to make it ^_^

Slightly Scorched Teflon Milo Sponge

To make this Teflon sponge, you have to use very low heat, because otherwise it will burn.

As I experienced, when I heated the Teflon for the first time I forgot to turn down the heat to a very small level..

Yes because it's a little scorched hehehe ^_^

But thank God it didn't reduce the taste, and I just cut the charred pieces with a knife and threw them away.

So if you want to try to make this Teflon sponge, for the first 15 minutes, try opening the lid of the pan and see if the surface of the cake has started to dry or not.

If it starts to dry, try turning it over with the help of a heat-resistant melamine plate.

So the position of the upper part of the sponge becomes the lower part and the lower part is turned upwards, this is to ripen the part in the sponge without making the sponge charred.

Because it turns out that the Milo chocolate can also make this Teflon sponge easy to burn.

Baking time can be 20 to 25 minutes, until the inside of the sponge is completely cooked. But remember, friends, the stove fire must be very small.

Ok,, good luck huh... So, Enjoy Your Cooking Mom :D
